A statist is defined as someone who favors the “concentration of economic controls and planning in the hands of a highly centralized government often extending to government ownership of industry.” This is a humorous, but sadly very accurate, representation of the numerous forms statism takes.Thanks goes to Francois Tremblay for this picture.
