I came upon the work of economist Peter T. Leeson after reading the interesting book The Legal Foundations of Free Markets, edited by Stephen F. Copp, wherein Leeson contributed a very good essay titled Do Markets Need Government? I found this present essay of his at Cato Unbound.org. It dates from August 6, 2007.No sane person believes that anarchy generates order. The idea that anarchy could be
