I happened to come across an interesting video that in many ways mirrors my views about the similarities between theism and statism. A few years after I believed I had come up with a unique insight I came to find out that others have come to this same conclusion:
Both psychologically and logically, theism and statism are related. Those who submit authority over their minds to gods and priests
