Communism and Atheism: Revised and Updated

This is a revision of the post I did by the same title back in January of 2008. Since then I've learned quite a bit more about this topic and wanted to revise the old post.

Since the original Communism and Atheism post I've written and read about this topic in more detail, and have discussed the issue briefly with a Russian studies major (his blog is currently located here where he wrote an
